State Personnel Benefits recently put together an Employee Benefit Handbook. This handbook provides the rules and regulations regarding employee benefits. Some of the topics discussed in the handbook include; dual insurance coverage, family status changes, and penalty for dishonesty. All agencies and their employees need to have access to the handbook and make themselves familiar with the information provided.
The handbook is located on the State Personnel Department's 2009 Benefits website at www.in.gov/spd/2528.htm. Look on the right side and scroll down to "Additional Resources" and click on "Employee Benefits Handbook."
