LOGANSPORT, Ind. (WLFI) - A couple originally from Logansport was killed a traffic wreck in Georgia.
Randy and Jackie Bowman were transporting eight prisoners when the car they were driving crashed into the back of a semi, police said. Randy, Jackie and one of the prisoners were killed.
The wreck happened at 2:00 a.m. Tuesday morning off Interstate 20 near Greensboro. The other seven prisoners were flown to Georgia-area hospitals.
Both Randy and Jackie Bowman left the Cass County Sheriff's office to work for Transport Service of America. Funeral arrangements are still pending.
