BANDERA — A grand jury on Monday indicted a local man on a charge of improper sexual contact with a person in custody, accusing him of having sexual relations with a female inmate at the Bandera County jail while he was a jailer, District Attorney Bruce Curry said. Scott Sharp Jr., 19, had been on the job about six months before allegedly getting intimate in late November with the detainee, who wasn’t named. When he was fired, Sharp said he’d had consensual sex three or four times with the woman, who denied any sex occurred, Bandera County Sheriff Weldon Tucker said. Sharp’s father is an investigator with the department. The grand jury indicted Sharp on the state jail felony after hearing testimony from Texas Ranger Lance Coleman, Curry said. source: www.mysanantonio.com/news/local_news/Ex-jailer_in_Bandera_County_indicted_for_jail_sex.html
