Congratulations and Best Wishes to IDOC Retirees!
In the recent weeks and months, many experienced and valuable Indiana Department of
Correction employees have started the next phase in their lives and began their retirement
journeys. A great number of those employees served the State of Indiana for well over 20 years.
Because of that, the Agency would like to recognize those who did so much for the State and
thank them for jobs well done.
A few retirees, with significant years of service to Indiana, received Distinguished Hoosier
awards in recognition of their retirement. From Westville Correctional Facility, Frances Watson
(42 years of service), Carolyn Taylor (42 years of service), Larnice Jones (42 years of service),
George Patten (38 years of service), and Michael Paige (37 years of service) each received
Distinguished Hoosier awards for their service.
Additionally, Delores Montgomery (30 years of service), Barry Nothstine (22 years of service),
Joseph Furore (35 years of service), and Robert Taylo (18 years of service) each received a
Distinguished Hoosier award for their work at the Indiana State Prison.
Lastly, Stella Wilson of Central Office, with 42 years of service, Rondle Anderson of
Correctional Industrial Facility, with 33 years of service, and Mike Rupe of the Plainfield Reentry
