Prison Guard Has Violent Inmate’s Child A prison guard at the Aylesbury Young Offenders’ Institute in the British county of Buckinghamshire has given birth to a violent inmate’s baby, papers show. Aylesbury prison officer Kelly-Anne McDade listed convicted burglar Nelson Simoes Lopes Delgado as the father of her newborn son on a filed birth certificate, The Daily Mail said Thursday McDade, who was suspended when her superiors learned of her relationship with Delgado, resigned from her prison post after her new child’s birth. Delgado, who was 18 when he was convicted more than two years ago, was serving time at the Aylesbury site for a violent attack on a couple in their home. The inmate has been transferred to Swinfen Hall Young Offenders’ Institute in the wake of his romance with McDade, whose age wasn’t reported. David Kennedy, governor at the Aylesbury institute, told the Mail prison staff who inappropriately fraternize with prisoners pose a risk to their fellow workers. “I consider an inappropriate relationship between prisoners and staff as a gross abuse of the professional relationships I encourage my staff to maintain with prisoners,” he said. “They constitute a breach of security and put every other officer at risk. source: www.postchronicle.com/news/breakingnews/article_212226995.shtml?ref=rss
